A Gem of a Guest House

I had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at this guest house. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and spotless, with an excellent view from the Castle to the Sea Life Centre. The bathroom was clean and modern, with toiletries supplied. The guest house had a lovely, warm atmosphere, and I slept well in the comfortable bed with fresh bedding. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of fruits, yogurts, croissants, and fresh juices to start, followed by a delicious cooked breakfast of my choice with top quality foods. The host, a lovely oriental young lady, was incredibly pleasant and helpful at all times, providing advice about the local area and places of interest. I was truly impressed by her hard work and friendliness. I had a fantastic experience at this guest house and will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends and family. Great value for money!

The initial room we were assigned was small and had limited space to open our suitcases.

The rooms, even the larger ones, were still quite small, which may be a drawback for some guests. It would have been convenient to have a mini fridge or a safe in the room to secure valuables.

The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the sea and giving us a feeling of tranquility during our Christmas stay. the breakfast options provided were top-notch, with a wide variety to choose from, ensuring that there was something for everyone's taste. the location of the hotel was ideal, as it was conveniently situated near key attractions and amenities, making it easy to explore the surroundings.

the room we were allocated was much smaller than expected, making it challenging to move around comfortably. the shower in the bathroom was quite cramped, with a small door opening that restricted easy access.

The hotel is conveniently located close to a very tasty Chinese restaurant and is near to the castle, allowing for easy exploration. The rooms are well-appointed with quality touches and very comfortable beds. The breakfast is comprehensive and offers a variety of options, including Longley Farm yoghurts. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the service is top-notch. Guests can enjoy a stunning view from some of the rooms. The hotel is situated in the quieter area of Scarborough, ensuring a peaceful stay.

The size of some of the rooms may feel slightly cramped for some guests.

I recently stayed at Helaina in Scarborough for four nights and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The car parking was excellent, allowing us to conveniently park right next to the hotel with a great value permit. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of choices. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean and well decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location was perfect, with amazing views of the north bay and plenty of nearby seating options. I highly recommend this hotel.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

This hotel exceeded our expectations with its luxurious amenities and excellent service. the exclusive room advantages made it a comfortable and homely destination. the private facilities and bar/lounge area were great additions to our stay. the location advantages with beach access from the hotel made us feel like we were in paradise.

There was only one minor issue, as the parking was a bit tricky to find nearby. the hotel staff immediately provided parking permits to solve this problem.
