I recently stayed at a lovely country pub and hotel in Shropshire, close to Ludlow and other beautiful towns. The rooms were modern with all the amenities you could need, and mine even had a stunning view of Clee Hill. The bathroom was done to a high standard and the breakfast was amazing, with the staff accommodating all my requests. Plus, being directly over the bar area made it convenient for grabbing a drink or two.

One downside was the lack of discounts for children's portions on the Sunday lunch menu.

I did notice that the room could get quite warm as there was no air conditioning or fan provided. It would have been more comfortable with better ventilation.

The hotel's interior was clean and nicely decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, including a full English breakfast. We also appreciated the free wifi and ample parking provided by the hotel.

The soundproofing in the rooms could be improved as we could hear road noise and guests talking outside our window at night. our bedroom window was warped, causing it to not shut properly, resulting in some noise disturbances.
