The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The service was top-notch, with attentive housekeeping and a lovely welcome drink upon arrival. Our room had everything we needed, including ironing facilities and a cozy sitting area. The terrace and patio were wonderful spots to enjoy a drink outside, surrounded by the beautiful garden furniture. the attention to detail and comfortable amenities made our stay truly enjoyable.

Had an amazing Christmas stay! Really enjoyed the medieval-inspired decor and the friendly staff. the food was definitely one of the best aspects - such a wide variety of choices and excellent quality. Loved the traditional Christmas dinner and mulled wine! Another great thing was the location, really picturesque and the perfect spot for a countryside getaway. Plus, the room was spacious and clean with a great TV and other modern amenities.

Another highlight was the generous portions and quality of the food at the restaurant, including a good range of vegetarian options. The bar was cozy and a nice place to unwind with a drink. Despite a few minor hiccups, such as the lack of evening meals on Sunday and a confusing menu on Saturday, the experience at the inn was highly enjoyable. The only other issues we encountered were the hot room temperature overnight, due to the inability to open windows, and some traffic noise from the road. However, the staff handled our concerns promptly and were very apologetic. Despite a slight disappointment with the dinner, the overall experience at the inn was positive and I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing break and as a base for exploring the area.
