i previously stayed in burford and this time was even better. the atmosphere was charming and the food was top-notch, especially the cotes de boeuf, which was cooked perfectly. the ambience and service were stellar, exceeding my expectations during this luxurious holiday.

the shower lacked sufficient water pressure.

i almost thought about giving this place a good review, but then i remembered the 30 minute wait for check-in and absolutely pathetic shower pressure that was just a trickle, not to mention the complete lack of any effort on my special occasion. what does a guest have to do to get upgraded or at least feel special here?

What a braw stay! The food was truly heavenly, especially the stone bass and fricassée—just pure class. Only downside was the off-site parking, but nae bother. Would return in a jiffy!
