The hotel was beautiful, our room was lovely, cosy and warm. The bed was huge and super comfy. We also enjoyed the friendly and attentive staff, especially the young female serving breakfast who was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel did not skimp on the small touches and the quality of refreshments supplied was top-notch. The location was also convenient, with stunning scenery and plenty of walking space around the hotel.

The hotel also appeared in need of a deep clean and refurbishment, with carpets that needed replacing and cracking paint in some areas. The customer service was also lacking, with the owner being rude and unhelpful when we expressed our discontent.

The hotel is conveniently located in its own grounds, providing a tranquil setting while still being close to the shops and city center. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. Guests can enjoy a delicious dinner at the bistro and there is free WiFi available.

There is no draught beer or lager available, which may disappoint guests who prefer to enjoy a drink in the bar or outside in the grounds.

We loved staying at this hotel! The location was perfect, right on the river in beautiful grounds but still just a short walk to the town center. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and comfortable.

I had a truly enjoyable stay at this stunning hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the grandeur of the building and the beautiful grounds surrounding it. The room I stayed in was stylish and clean, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. I was also impressed by the large TV and the refreshing power shower in the bathroom.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they promptly accommodated our request to add our grandson into the room. The beds were really good, providing a comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of cereals and a delicious full Scottish breakfast. The hotel had a lovely old building with comfortable lounge area. The internal decoration in the main public rooms was also quite nice. The staff were all very pleasant and I was happy to have a member of staff bring me my forgotten shoes as we were leaving.

The hotel lacked proper management and had limited staff on site. There were numerous issues with the room including dirty stains on the carpet and sofa cushions, as well as a curtain hanging off the rail and a dirty shower tray.

As a disabled traveler, I found the Mansion House Hotel to be accommodating and accessible. The staff went out of their way to assist me and make sure I had everything I needed.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is close to Elgin City's football ground. Additionally, there is a lovely park nearby where families can enjoy some outdoor activities. The hotel is happy to offer the bistro menu in the main restaurant, providing a variety of dining options. Moreover, it is really close to the town centre where guests can find a really nice Indian restaurant.

The staff at Mansion House made our stay truly enjoyable and memorable. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The food served at the hotel was also excellent, exceeding our expectations. I especially loved the comfortable and cozy room we stayed in, complete with a luxurious 4 poster bed. Despite a few minor issues, such as a broken shower and some worn-out areas, we still had a pleasant experience. I would recommend this hotel for its warm hospitality and delicious food.
