We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was amazing, with a high ceiling and modern decor. The additional welcome touches, such as the complimentary drink and delicious homemade fudge, made us feel so welcomed. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and we were even offered a special anniversary drink. The room facilities were excellent, with a fridge, high-quality toiletries, iron, and hairdryer provided. The spacious room had plenty of natural light, thanks to the velux windows. The restaurant food was delicious, and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices, both hot and cold. the cleanliness, decor, bathroom, shower, and the excellent staff all made our stay truly enjoyable.

The staff were mostly polite and helpful, offering great suggestions on places to visit. Charging our electric vehicle was simple and free. The food was really good, with a wonderful meal in the restaurant.

We had the most wonderful stay at Merchant's Yard! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Our room was simply beautiful with impressive technology and a comfortable atmosphere. We were particularly amazed by the electric roof lights that provided natural light and fresh air. The breakfast spread was exceptional, with a great selection of juices, teas, and coffees. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, offering restaurant recommendations and providing excellent service throughout our stay. The hotel itself is modern and well-maintained, with spacious and contemporary rooms that offer all the comforts we could ask for. The location was also ideal, surrounded by lovely countryside walks for a peaceful escape. Although there were some minor drawbacks, such as the lack of windows in the bedrooms and the need to handle some technological features, these were easily overlooked considering the overall outstanding experience. We absolutely loved our time at Merchant's Yard and highly recommend it. it surpassed our expectations and made our stay truly memorable.

A fabulous modern environment with beautiful rooms attached to a lovely restaurant. We were well looked after and our host, Jo, always took time to check we had what we needed. the weather was very hot at the time of our stay and our hosts went the extra mile to keep the room cool. Breakfast was excellent, providing the perfect start to our days exploring the surrounding area. A great base with shops, pubs, and restaurants set in beautiful countryside. the staff was so friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. the building and rooms are beautiful - well-architected with lovely quality finishes. the food was immense - absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend a trip here.
