We had a delightful stay at this charming country hotel with its attractive gardens. The location, in a picturesque village close to the Beaulieu River, was perfect. Monty's restaurant provided excellent food at reasonable prices. Our room, although a bit small, was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a bath and a separate shower, with fresh white towels. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. We appreciated the friendly staff and the complimentary tea tray delivered to our room in the morning.

The Terrace Restaurant provided a delightful setting for our exquisite 7-course meal, with the chef accommodating our dietary preferences. The cute mezzanine level allowed us to relax comfortably in soft bathrobes.

The dinner service was marred by a sommelier with a rude and disdainful attitude towards patrons, leading to an uncomfortable experience during our meal.

We stayed in one of the Hayloft suites and it was absolutely stunning! The room was beautifully decorated and we loved the complimentary decanter of sloe gin and the Nespresso machine with coffee pods. The location was also perfect, with picturesque gardens and a lovely terrace restaurant. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine. Plus, being able to use the facilities at the sister hotel was a huge bonus!

There were a couple of minor issues. the sofas in the room could have been cleaner.
