The Okeover Arms Bed & Breakfast exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money and room comfort. We were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in a spacious suite with beautiful decor and thoughtful touches. The location was idyllic, overlooking the hills and with the peaceful sound of sheep nearby. The staff were fantastic, making our stay enjoyable and ensuring everything was perfect for us and our son. We can't recommend it highly enough.

The hotel is located in a picturesque countryside, making it an ideal base for those planning a visit to Alton Towers or those who simply want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Guests can relax in the lovely garden surrounded by breathtaking views. Moreover, there is a popular steakhouse just a short walk away, offering a delicious dining option. The rooms are comfortable with soft towels and great bedding, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast is delightful, with a variety of options to choose from.

Some areas of the hotel could use improvement, such as the outdated bathrooms mentioned by previous guests.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming countryside inn. The bed mattress was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the option to bring our own pillows for a better night's sleep. The full English breakfast was not only delicious but also very generous, and we even had to ask for reduced portions on our second morning. The evening meal at the pub was fantastic, with a good menu and quality food. The log burner fire created a cozy atmosphere, and the freshly decorated bedroom was lovely. The WiFi worked well, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn't believe the incredible value for money and would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Okeover Arms Bed & Breakfast. Angelawas made us feel so welcome and at home. The pet-friendly atmosphere was fantastic, with dog treats at the entrance and even sausages for breakfast. The room was lovely and clean, and the whole B&B had a welcoming and quiet ambiance. The staff were hardworking, welcoming, and very helpful. The beers were excellent, the evening meals were delicious and reasonably priced, and the breakfast was good too. The comfortable room and bed made for a great night's sleep.

A Pleasant Surprise

Great scenery and easy access to outdoor activities. Room was clean and had a nice view. The pub served good quality beer.

Overpriced food was mediocre at best; service was slow, with little attention given to us other than taking our order.

Loved the peaceful location in the heart of the countryside, perfect for a romantic escape. The room had a beautiful view of the fields, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed the delicious breakfast, especially the locally sourced sausages and homemade marmalade.

The room could use some renovation, it felt a bit outdated and in need of a refresh. , the menu was a bit confusing, as it wasn't clearly labeled which options were vegetarian or could be made vegetarian.

We got excellent value for our money at the Okeover Arms. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a fantastic shower. The location was great, with beautiful views, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even celebrated our daughter's birthday with a lovely surprise.

The hotel breakfast menu could have had clearer labeling indicating vegetarian options. This would have made choosing breakfast items easier and faster, avoiding any potential confusion or mistakes.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure our comfort. The newly renovated room had the most comfortable beds and pillows, providing us with a great night's sleep. The hotel's location was perfect for us, with beautiful views of the sheep fields and the River Dove. We also appreciated the ample parking space available. Additionally, the breakfast provided by the hotel was excellent.

It's a lovely place with hardworking, welcoming owners. Excellent beers and reasonably priced evening meals. Comfortable rooms and beds. Generous and freshly cooked breakfast. Lovely peaceful location with plenty of parking.

Hard to think of anything.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home during my stay. They were also great with my dog, providing treats and going the extra mile to make him comfortable. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the outside seating area was spacious and peaceful. Plus, they had a play area for children and organized live music events, which added to the overall enjoyable experience.

The TV in the room didn't have freeview, although Netflix was available. It would have been nice to have a wider range of TV channels to choose from.
