We absolutely loved our stay at this exquisite hotel! The location was perfect for exploring the charming town and it was just a short walk away from the steam railway. The staff provided unbelievably good service and attended to every request we had. They even changed our room on request and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The room amenities were top-notch, from the ironing facilities to the tea and coffee facilities, everything was provided for our convenience. The room itself was luxurious and had a cozy sitting area where we could relax after a long day of sightseeing. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great bonus, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and we had an enjoyable evening meal as well.

We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services that made our stay truly unforgettable.

The location of this B and B is brilliant, right at the bottom of the cobbled street, close to the park and not far from the museum or a wide range of restaurants. The room we stayed in was nice and cosy with a good size bathroom. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was delicious.

Sadly, there was no residents bar or lounge, which would have made our stay even better.

Our stay in this hotel was fantastic. It is conveniently located right on the Main Street, close to all the major attractions. The staff were super friendly and provided excellent service. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and the hot water never ran out. The breakfast served in the restaurant was delicious, and we enjoyed the lovely view from our room.

The lighting in our room was a bit problematic and needed multiple repairs.

The room was beautifully decorated with a lot of thought put into it. the big bathroom had a large bath and shower, with nice toiletries and plenty of thick towels. I also loved the old photos on the stairs and the historical feel of the building. the staff were friendly and the location was excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

I did have a few minor complaints. the attic room I stayed in was a bit cramped and it was easy to accidentally bump our heads in the bathroom.

Spending Christmas at this vintage hotel was a wonderful experience. the room was cozy with a beautiful view of the valley, and the locally-sourced breakfast was outstanding. Plus, the location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of the historic village with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

The hot water wasn't consistent in the shower, and the bed creaked loudly due to a cracked wooden frame. there was a slight issue with smelly drains in the bathroom.

The location of the hotel was ideal, situated at the bottom of the main street away from the busy pubs at the top. The hotel also had an onsite restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a variety of options to choose from.
