The room was comfortable with a cozy bed, perfect for a romantic escape. the location was great, surrounded by beautiful countryside and only a short drive from Cambridge city center. We also enjoyed the delicious meal we had at the onsite restaurant, with superb food and friendly service.

The room had a strong smell of damp, which was quite unpleasant. the lack of a plug socket for the kettle was inconvenient, forcing us to unplug another appliance to boil water.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They even offered to drop me off at the park and ride or arrange a taxi service when I needed to go to the city center for dinner. The breakfast was delivered to my room, and I must say, it was delicious. And let's not forget about the electric bikes they have available - so much fun!

Guests can easily enjoy meals and drinks at their convenience without having to worry about finding a parking spot. The location was perfect for us as we were visiting nearby attractions such as Audley End House for a concert and going wine tasting at Childford Hall before heading into Cambridge. The room was well-appointed and had everything we needed, including a coffee and breakfast setup that was very thoughtfully arranged. During my recent stay at the Pear Tree Inn, I was delighted to find a spacious and well-equipped bungalow that felt like a true home away from home. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and plenty of footpaths for local walks. The location is also ideal, just a short drive from the Cambridge park and ride. The friendly hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and Gael, the main man, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The highlight of our experience was dining at the Pear and Olive Scratch Kitchen, where we had some of the best food we've ever tasted.

While our overall stay was excellent, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The shower pressure could have been improved, especially for guests with long hair like myself.

The cleanliness was excellent, with the room prepared with everything we needed, including homemade cakes and a decanter of port. The hotel facilities were great, with a mini kitchen and cutlery/crockery provided. The location next to the Pear Tree Inn restaurant was convenient, as there was ample parking and we could easily access the dining/kitchen/lounge area for coffee and breakfast. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had a comfortable stay.
