I recently stayed at The Peppermill hotel in Devizes for a few nights and it was a fantastic experience. The central location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the town. The building itself was charming, with a unique and updated design. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was a welcomed bonus during the warm weather. Despite my room being at the front, the secondary glazing effectively blocked out any noise.

My Easter stay was enjoyable with a few positive aspects. the location of the hotel was ideal, being centrally situated within the town and providing easy access to nearby attractions. I appreciated the fact that the hotel offered delicious food options, making every meal a delightful experience.

There were a few aspects that could have been improved upon. the lack of clear instructions for arrival was confusing and caused some frustration.

The room was comfortable and had great amenities like underfloor heating in the bathroom. The bed was super comfy and the shower had multiple options. The breakfast was excellent, with locally-sourced meat and even extra toiletries like cotton buds. a perfect stay.

We stayed one night while visiting the area. The room, although small, was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The recently refurbished bathroom had bathrobes and was immaculate. The hotel itself exuded charm and character, and the staff were incredibly helpful, even finding a safe place to store our bikes. The breakfast, sourced locally, was absolutely delicious. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of Devizes. You're just a stone's throw away from the market and all the bustling activity of the town. The room was very comfortable and cozy, providing a peaceful haven after a day of exploring. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service, ensuring all our needs were met. The breakfast was wholesome, with good quality ingredients to start the day off right. Plus, the hotel offers a parking facility, making it convenient for guests with cars.

Be aware that the hotel sometimes hosts live music events in the bar, which can get a bit noisy.

Luxurious and exclusive amenities fulfilled our needs, including an excellent selection of special-diet menus. The service was attentive and the leisure/TV room was a highlight. In addition, the sun terrace was a great place to relax in the afternoon.

The rooms were clean; however, some rooms were affected by traffic noise from the nearby road.

I stayed at The Peppermill for business and was pleasantly surprised by its quality. The staff made check-in effortless and even accommodated my early arrival. The suite was stunning, with spacious bedrooms and extra-large beds. The pillows and linen were amazing, and the bathrooms were newly refurbished with large showers and baths. The hotel's location on the high street was great, and the breakfast, sourced from a local farm, was excellent.
