We had a fantastic stay at a lovely property in the charming village of Scalby. The cottage we stayed in was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, making us feel right at home. The Plough pub across the road was a great spot for delicious food and drinks, and the village itself was a peaceful retreat just a short distance from Scarborough. The welcome package, including a bottle of wine, was a nice touch. With on and off-road parking available, it was convenient to explore the area. we highly recommend staying at The Plough in Scalby.

Recently stayed at The Plough in Scarborough for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The attention to detail in the luxurious yet cosy room was outstanding. The outstanding food in the restaurant and the exceptional customer service from the manager made our stay truly special. The surprise birthday dessert was a lovely touch. We can't wait to return and will definitely be recommending to friends. The whole building was tastefully decorated and the pub served excellent food.

Located on the north Yorkshire coast, this hotel is conveniently situated right across the road from a lovely pub, offering great home cooked food at good prices. Guests have praised the comfortable rooms, well-equipped bathrooms, and friendly service. The breakfast is superb, and the Wi-Fi is excellent. The hotel also offers facilities such as mini bars and full cable TV, making for a pleasant stay.

Limited on-road parking can be a drawback for guests.

I recently stayed at The Plough in Scalby for a few nights and it was absolutely amazing. The house Number 20 had everything you could need, and all top quality. It was spotless, the beds were amazing, and they even provided games for the kids. The pub and village shop were conveniently located opposite, and it was just far enough away from the town center. The boutique-style room was up our alley, with lovely little extras and top-class fittings and furnishings. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the meals were fantastic. I've already booked again for July!

The food tasted great and there were many options to choose from on the menu. The decoration and cleanliness of the room was impressive and the facilities seemed well-equipped. the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The room was quite small for the price and lacked space for additional seating. Although the location was lovely, we found that it took longer than expected to get to our desired destinations.

The room we stayed in at The Plough was absolutely fantastic. We booked the King Deluxe and it exceeded all our expectations. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and had a luxurious bath in addition to the shower room. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the furnishings were of high quality. We also had a delicious evening meal and the breakfast included in our room rate was plentiful and of great quality. We can't wait to come back!

Set back from quiet road. Beautifully decorated. Welcoming and tastefully designed bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Stunning food at the nearby pub. Helpful and attentive staff. Fantastic facilities with all mod cons. Lovely little outside area.

The bar food was excellent, and the breakfast provided outstanding value for money. The rooms were luxurious and beautifully designed, with comfortable beds and top-notch amenities like a Nespresso machine and Dyson fan.

The menu served in the restaurant is exquisite and expertly prepared by the chefs. The service of the staff is fantastic, going above and beyond to accommodate guests' special requests. The free street parking is a great bonus, ensuring guests do not waste time searching for a spot. The location is perfect for those who want to get away from the town yet still be close enough to popular tourist destinations.

The walk-in shower in the bathroom is not very practical, as the floor gets wet despite using bath mats. While the gas ‘coal effect’ stove in the room would be the perfect addition to make the room even more cosy, the remote control was missing.
