There was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful area, with the added bonus of having gardens at the doorstep. It is also close to the famous Portobello Road markets, making it convenient for shopping and exploring. The room I stayed in was spacious and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable stay. The bathroom had good quality products and the breakfast offered a satisfying continental spread. it was a pleasant experience.

The overall condition of the furniture and décor looked worn, with stained carpets and threadbare sofas in the communal area.

Stayed at the Portobello Hotel for the Notting Hill Carnival. Excellent location and a quiet atmosphere. the room was perfect and the breakfast was a great start to the day. Staff were very helpful and provided useful information. the hotel is also conveniently located with a 30-minute walk to Buckingham Palace through Kensington Gardens. an excellent hotel experience.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, being so close to the vibrant Portobello Markets, in a lovely area with beautiful private gardens that some of the rooms overlook. It's also conveniently located near the underground, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with fine period furnishings and comfortable beds. The bathroom is nice, with a powerful shower and high-quality toiletries. The staff are friendly and the breakfast options are good, with a nice spread of pastries and cereal.

There was no turn down service available, which made it a bit inconvenient to wrestle with the heavy curtains in the room every night before going to bed.

A great option for traveling with kids.
