Loved the rural setting overlooking the duck pond and sheep pasture. The communal atmosphere of the guesthouse with shared kitchen and dining room was great. The room was comfortable and spacious with its own sink. The shared bathrooms were spotless and had great showers. Laundry facilities were available and staff was helpful. The kitchen and dining area were pristine and well-equipped.

Felt really like home, nothing too much trouble.

I stayed at Hvoll for three nights during my trip to Iceland. The hostel had three individual kitchens, which made cooking and cleaning up a breeze. The rooms had a nice view and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was peaceful and ideal for observing birds. The hostel also had a big parking area and free wifi. it was a great experience and I would definitely come back again.

We were pleasantly surprised by Hvoll Hostel! It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The beds were comfortable and there was no wait for the shower in the morning. The kitchen was well-equipped and there were even multiple kitchens available. The staff was kind and accommodating, allowing us to check-in late and leaving clear instructions for us. We will definitely return when we're back in Iceland!

We had a great value for our money at Hvoll. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was stunning, with a beautiful lake and green valley right in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed chatting with the hosts about Icelandic culture and history.
