The Queens Head: Friendly staff, delicious Thai food, affordable prices, welcoming atmosphere, convenient location.

Couldn't find any faults at all.

Stayed at Queens Head in Horspath for one night. Exceptionally clean room with good beds and bedding. Lovely fluffy bath towels and toiletries provided. Friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome. Ample parking available. Convenient location with easy access to Oxford via a bus from the village green. Jason, the staff member, went out of his way to ensure our comfort and our kids enjoyed the unique mezzanine bed. Dinner at the pub was good with a varied Thai menu and local beer.

I had an amazing stay at the Queens Head in Horspath. the room exceeded my expectations - it was exceptionally clean with comfortable beds and lovely fluffy towels. the staff at the pub were extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel very welcome. the location in the sleepy village was perfect, just a short walk from the bus stop that took me straight into the center of town. my experience was memorable and I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location for a national village cricket match, friendly and polite staff, clean and tidy room, excellent host, nice atmosphere in the pub, good value for the price.

The neighborhood where the hotel is located was very calm and inviting. the room was spacious, clean, and recently refurbished. the staff was accommodating and friendly. the local bar was a plus, with a varied Thai menu, and the beer was locally sourced.

The shower temperature was inconsistent, which made it difficult to enjoy. the public bar was a bit small for the number of customers, which resulted in a crowded feeling.

This hotel was fantastic for what we needed with two children and the staff were really helpful and accommodating. The location is very good to get into Oxford from, and the pub itself was very clean and friendly. We enjoyed a drink before bed and the rooms, although a bit noisy on a busy night in the pub, were comfortable and had all the basic amenities we needed. The prices were reasonable and the value for money was excellent. this hotel was a great choice for our trip.

The location of the hotel was great, being close to shopping areas and the town center. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay. The bathroom had all the necessary amenities and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The pub next door was a bonus, as it remained open even after midnight.

The shower in the bathroom had some issues with temperature control, making it difficult to find the right setting.

We had a wonderful welcome from Zoe at the Queens Head and she couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay. The pub itself has a quaint English charm that added to the overall experience.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as a noisy marquee outside the rooms and limited breakfast options, the overall experience was delightful. The staff's helpfulness and attentiveness outweighed any negatives.
