During my stay, I really appreciated how easy it was to stroll down to Whitby Harbour, which is just a few steps away, and explore Pannett Park, around 500 meters from the hotel, where I enjoyed a lovely afternoon surrounded by nature and art galleries. it was fantastic to have such great gems within walking distance as I love wandering through towns and immersing myself in the local charm.

The breakfast offered large portions and was freshly cooked, making mornings delightful.

The carpets, particularly on the lower floors, were noticeably dirty, detracting from the overall cleanliness.

the room was incredibly warm, and the staff seemed oblivious to my need for cooler air. absolutely rediculous that I wasn't offered a room upgrade for my discomfort. plus, cold water on arrival? definitly not the 'five-star' treatment I expected.

the room was so small, I felt like a sardine in a can. And there was no view, just a flat roof covered in seagull mess. I almost gave a good review, but when I asked for a room upgrade due to the noise, I was treated like a nuisance.

It was perfectly located for us to explore Whitby, with the gorgeous abbey just a short walk away. Dinner at the Vault Restaurant was filled with delightful dishes. The kids loved the evening meals after long days of adventuring.

My kids wished for a pool. The heat in the evening made it tough to sleep comfortably.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home, especially Lorraine, who helped us with parking. The room was clean and beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast with a variety of options. The hotel's charm definitely exceeded my expectations.

Very spacious rooms with a lovely view of the church and harbor. Enjoyed a huge whirlpool bath after walking all day. It's centrally located for easy exploring.

Felt really comfortable, no complaints whatsoever.

the food at the hotel restaurant was very good quality and different. seagulls were noisy in the morning.

We had a lovely time with a beautiful room that had a whirlpool bath and even a TV, which was such a fun treat. The leisure options included a cozy TV room and a peaceful lounge area to unwind after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, the corridors could use a little more attention, but that didn’t take away from our overall experience! 😊

No parking on site and poor communication about parking arrangements!!! Our room could use more storage options and specific details about meal availability could help future guests avoid inconveniences. Bedside table was missing!!!

Had a lovely stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. The hotel’s location is convenient, just a short walk to the harbour. Check-in was seamless and the room had a modern feel.
