The location was great, right in the heart of the city, close to many attractions and amenities. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing good service throughout our stay. the room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities.

The breakfast was disappointing, with cold and hard poached eggs and poorly cooked fried eggs. the bathroom was in need of maintenance, with visible mould around the edges of the bath and taps.

I traveled from Peterborough to Perth for a family function at The Royal George Hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly, helpful, attentive, and accommodating. The rooms were spacious with high standards of decoration and cleanliness. The breakfast was superb, with an excellent choice of food that was cooked to perfection. The location was perfect, right in the center of everything, within walking distance to the town and pubs. a memorable experience for myself and my elderly parents. I definitely recommend this hotel and give it a 5+ rating.

Additionally, the hotel offered a delicious breakfast and we even indulged in a delightful high tea one evening due to bad weather.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Royal George. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a suite and greeted with a tray of delicious cakes. The room had a lovely river view and was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast options were fantastic and when I couldn't make it due to toothache, they even sent up sausage sandwiches. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was fabulous, just minutes away from the town center and with free parking. It was conveniently close to shops, bars, and restaurants. I loved being right beside the river, as it provided a pleasant walk that led me to the city center and even the Concert Hall. The hotel facilities were great, with clean and comfortable rooms that were larger than expected. The view of the river from my room was breathtaking. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of hot and cold food. this hotel offered a wonderful experience.

Although the hotel had limited parking, we were able to find alternative parking about 15 minutes away. The shower in our room had a weak water flow, but it didn't significantly impact our stay.

The only downside was that the hotel did not have a lift, so climbing the stairs was a bit difficult, especially for those with mobility issues. It would have been helpful to know this beforehand.
