The rooms were modern and well-equipped, with a four-poster bed and complimentary toiletries. the hotel is located in a quiet area, overlooking beautiful gardens, and is just a short walk from Antony Gormley statues on the beach. We also loved the lounge bar, which served delicious bar food, and the excellent restaurant where we enjoyed a great value early bird meal. the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast had a good range of choices. a wonderful stay!

That there were no elevators in the hotel, so it might not be suitable for those with mobility issues. However, there is ramped access from the car park to the main areas of the hotel.

We stayed in the city centre, which was a much better option in terms of value for money compared to the hotel near relatives. The room we had overlooked the docks, giving it a slightly dystopian vibe. However, the service was excellent, with accommodating staff and great breakfast. The room was clean and had tea making facilities, iron, and nice views from the front windows. it was a decent stay.

The WiFi was non-existent and didn't connect to any of our devices.

The staff is friendly and brings Merseyside friendliness. The bedroom is excellent with a high standard bathroom. The bed is comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The towels are white and fluffy. The room is clean, airy, and quiet. The food is excellent and the breakfast is top-notch.

The front desk gentleman promptly sorted out a mix-up with my bed preferences, and a lady named Mel even helped me find a tire company to replace my tire on a Sunday morning. The made-to-order breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the friendly staff made sure that the bar stayed open a little later so my family could continue chatting. I also appreciated the convenient location of the hotel, close enough to Liverpool to enjoy the city's attractions and with beautiful views of the marina.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the Crosby area. The location was perfect, as it was situated close to the beach and just a short walk from the Antony Gormley 'Iron Men'. Additionally, the hotel had its own car park, so parking was not a problem. The transportation options were also convenient, with a train station within a 10-minute walk, providing easy access to both the city center of Liverpool and Southport. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, it was tidy, clean, and well-groomed. The hotel facilities were great, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and plenty of good quality food. The staff were attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at Royal Hotel in Crosby. the hotel was recently refurbished and impeccably clean. the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. the food, especially the dinners, was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to the young man with blonde hair and a ponytail in the bar who made us feel extremely welcome, and the lady with dark hair and a ponytail at the reception who was pleasant and helpful. We also appreciated the room attached to the hotel, which was perfect for someone with a disability. the breakfast was delicious and filling, and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection.

The Royal Hotel Crosby exceeded our expectations in many ways. the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Situated by the river, the views from the front rooms are simply stunning. We enjoyed the peaceful presence of Antony Gormley's men on the nearby beach. Secondly, the staff at this hotel were amazing. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They even surprised my mum with a helium balloon for her birthday, which she took all the way home! Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable, with a large mattress that ensured a good night's sleep. The bathrooms were a good size and had all the necessary facilities.

All was wonderful and met our expectations.
