The Salmon Inn in Galashiels exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was exceptional, with reasonable prices for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the well-appointed rooms with relaxing chairs to the large and comfy beds. The hotel's central location in the heart of town was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, they were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience. Additionally, I appreciated the unique breakfast concept of a box containing various items, which turned out to be a surprisingly enjoyable dining experience.

Had a great business trip, the location was key for me, close to the town centre and easy to find. Really loved the comfortable bed and spacious en-suite in the room. the canned water and tea/coffee supplies were an added bonus. the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel at home.

I wasn't able to try the breakfast, as it wasn't included in the room rate. my room was facing a busy street, and the noise level was high, making it tough to get a good night's sleep.

Located right in the centre of Gala, The Salmon Inn is a convenient choice for exploring the town. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, offering modern amenities and a comfortable stay. The en-suite bathrooms are spacious and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The breakfast box provided is a great way to start the day. the hotel's close proximity to the train station makes it easily accessible for travelers.

The lack of a reception area and the need to check in at the busy bar can be a bit overwhelming for guests.

This hotel in the center of Gala was perfect for my morning appointment. The accommodation was very clean and the staff were brilliant. The rooms are extremely comfortable and finished to an extremely high standard. The breakfast package in the fridge was a nice touch, especially for people who had been out late and were never going to make it up for breakfast.

The room was very small, with not enough room for a chair. It was also a little bit smaller than expected from the pictures.
