We had a fantastic 3-night stay at a peaceful location with a glorious view of Loch Sunart. Michelle and James, the hosts, provided friendly and personal service, acting like an on-site tourist bureau with their excellent travel tips and knowledge of the area. the breakfasts were the best we had on our 4-venue holiday, offering generous portions and deliciously cooked mushrooms and real Stornoway black pudding. the set menu and specials at the restaurant were varied, and the food was top-notch. the bright and welcoming room had a comfortable bed and a satisfactory shower. the Strontian Hotel is definitely worth booking!

This hotel is a hidden gem with stunning views over the loch. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with lovely views to wake up to in the morning. The breakfast is delicious, especially the Stornaway black pudding which is a must-try. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay.

No major issues, everything was absolutely fine.

The value for money was a bit on the higher side, but the room was worth it. It was actually two rooms, with a cozy sitting area and a separate bedroom with a lovely view of the lake. The location of the hotel was beautiful, with breathtaking views and a peaceful ambiance. The staff at the hotel were incredibly attentive and kind. They went above and beyond to assist us after a car accident, offering help with contacting insurers and making sure we were comfortable. They also provided us with maps and detailed directions to explore the most stunning locations in the area. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, and the service was always accompanied by a warm smile.

our stay in strontian was absolutely amazing. the hosts were attentive, sympathetic, and full of information about the beautiful surroundings. our room had a breathtaking view and was comfortable. the breakfasts were delicious and served with a smile. we even enjoyed superb evening meals in the cozy bothy. overall, strontian exceeded our expectations for a relaxing getaway.

Our romantic escape was wonderful! the hotel was in a beautiful location, with stunning views. the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the delicious meals offered in the hotel restaurant, with a great selection of vegetarian options. the lounge area was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. our experience at this hotel was fantastic.

This did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. We would definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway in a beautiful location.

From my bedroom window, I had a stunning view of the Highland sea loch in Strontian. the room itself was comfortable, and the wi-fi connection was very good. I particularly enjoyed the spacious sitting room, where I could relax with a book from the large library of books and maps available. the breakfast options were excellent, with hot dishes cooked to order. the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with valuable information about the area.

Can't fault anything about it. 😊
