The breakfast and dinner options were satisfactory, and the cooked breakfast was particularly delicious. the hotel had a charming exterior and a cozy bar/restaurant area, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

Clean and comfortable room, with a nice residents lounge and TV. the friendly staff made us feel welcomed, and the food in the bar was amazing. the breakfast was delicious and the fruit salad was a pleasant surprise. We appreciated the flexibility of the staff who accommodated our early breakfast request. the location was also convenient for our plans.

The decor in the room and public rooms could use some updating, and the room lacked proper lighting. Some of the food, such as the steak and chips, was disappointing and not cooked to our liking.

The Teesdale Hotel in Middleton is a hidden gem, with its stylish bar and restaurant creating a great atmosphere. The friendly staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel is pleasantly situated, offering excellent walks along the River Tees and on the moors. Middleton itself is a picturesque rural town, with delightful shops and cafes to explore. The small single room, although tiny, provided good value for money. The food, especially the breakfast, was delicious, making it a great base for my local explorations.

The staff were friendly and helpful, even giving us a spare key for the main door when we went out late. The food, made with local produce, was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. The hotel is in an excellent location and the hot water and shower facilities were plentiful. a lovely stay.
