Our recent stay at this hotel was truly delightful. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering personal touches and excellent service. the room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. the breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options to choose from. We especially enjoyed the cozy bar area, where we spent a lovely evening enjoying well-kept drinks and friendly conversations. the leisure room with entertainment options was a nice touch, adding to our overall positive experience.

I always return for a perfect stay. On my first visit, the staff kindly guided me. Free Wi-Fi, parking, a cozy lounge, and a TV. the electric kettle is handy. I enjoy darts, billiards, and outdoor activities. Plus, pets are welcome. I can't wait to return for Christmas!

The location of the hotel is convenient, with a shop nearby and a pub downstairs. Although the noise from the pub and traffic prevented us from keeping the window open, it was close to all essential amenities. The staff was friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean. Tea and coffee supplies were provided, which was a nice touch.

The shower took a long time to heat up, which was a minor inconvenience.

I had a wonderful stay at this inn. Shannon and Wendy, who took over recently, were incredibly welcoming and made sure to put personal touches in place. the room was comfortable and had a small TV, and the ensuite toilet was convenient. the shared lounge area was a great place to relax with a huge TV and comfortable seating. Breakfast was delicious with a generous spread of cereals, muffins, toast, and a cooked Scottish breakfast. Shannon even offered to pick us up from the train station. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

During my stay at the Village Inn, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners treated me like an old friend, making me feel comfortable and at home. The room I stayed in was immaculate and cozy, with a modern and spotless ensuite bathroom. Despite not offering food, the owner Scott kindly heated up some takeaway pakora for me, which was a delightful gesture. The location of the inn was also ideal, being at the heart of the village with plenty of activities nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider staying at the Village Inn again.

Good-sized rooms, perfect location, and excellent facilities. Tea, coffee, Tunnocks Caramel bars, and hand dispenser soaps provided. Twin room offered for a man and his 13-year-old son. Ensuite toilet in room, two great shower rooms across the hall. "Family lounge" area with reclining chairs, fridge, and microwave. Generous breakfast, including cereals, muffins, toast, juice. Hospitable and friendly staff.

The hotel was in a great location, close to shops and cafes. the room was clean and comfortable, and the self-serve tea and coffee facility was a nice touch. the personal touches like Tunnocks Caramel bars and soap dispensers were appreciated, and fresh milk was available on request.

Breakfast was limited to only 4 guests at a time due to current renovation works, which made it difficult to choose a suitable time slot. the check-in time of 9 pm was quite early, and there was no response to a request to arrive later.

We had a fantastic stay at this newly opened hotel. The rooms were immaculate, and the hosts Wendy and Shannon were incredibly welcoming. The full Scottish breakfast was absolutely amazing, and there's even a cute dog named Tess who wanders around for cuddles. Can't wait to book again!
