We had a lovely stay at the White Stag Lodge. the breakfast was good, although it would have been nice to have some toast or cereals available. Our host Simone was exceptional and made us feel very welcome. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. the property itself is a refurbished old building with a great atmosphere and easy parking. the staff were polite, friendly, and courteous. the room was of a high standard, clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. we were very impressed and would stay here again.

Arriving at the lodge and being able to enjoy our welcome drink outside was a great start to our stay. The staff greeted us with such friendliness, making us feel instantly at home. The location was perfect for us, as my dad lived just around the corner, and being close to the Park and Ride for the Open Golf was an added bonus. The accommodation exceeded my expectations; it was a lovely little village pub with surprisingly fantastic rooms at a very good value. Although there was no air conditioning, the room was still beautiful, clean, and nicely presented. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the rainfall shower was a delight to use. Both the bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. While the breakfast was continental and lacked a cooked option, it was still quite good. Considering the price, our stay was excellent.
