Had a fantastic experience in The Turret Suite. The winding stairway added to the fun and uniqueness of the stay. The spacious suite was beautifully decorated and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, just steps away from the Castle and the Royal Mile. Enjoyed a delightful dinner in the Secret Garden and a candlelit breakfast in the Original Witchery Dining Room. Would highly recommend this hotel for a unique and memorable experience.

My friends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a unique and enchanting hotel. Located down a cobbled alleyway, the hotel's location added to its charm. We had dinner in the restaurant at the front of the Witchery, which was very busy but the opulent and elegant design impressed us. The bathroom in our suite was exceptional, with gothic sinks, a big bath, and a walk-in tropical shower for two people. The service provided by the staff was incredibly helpful, and breakfast in the exquisitely panelled dining room was a delightful experience.

We found the dinner in the restaurant where we ended up leaving very disappointed. The scallops we ordered were tasteless and the service was slow.

Great room decoration, comfy bed and good cleaning service. the location was perfect, in the heart of the city and close to all the main attractions. the fact that the hotel offered free Wi-Fi was also a plus.

Doors slamming and loud talking kept us up all night. When we brought it up to the staff, they didn't seem to care much and didn't offer a solution.

We had a once in a lifetime experience staying at this hotel, with its special surroundings right next to the castle. The comfortable and cosy look of the hotel made it feel like a fairytale come to life. The location was perfect, with easy access to transportation and all the attractions of this city. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and provided excellent service. The breakfast offered was delicious and the extra touches like special chocolates, chilled water, and homemade cookies made our stay even more enjoyable.

The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. The apartments are amazing and offer a high level of privacy. The breakfast is delicious. The location is perfect for exploring the city. The overall experience is unforgettable.

the witchery by the castle in edinburgh was an absolute delight. the unique experience of staying in a historical setting while still enjoying modern comfort was incredible. the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the attention to detail in the room decor was fantastic. we can't wait to return and discover more of the themed rooms.

Breakfast options were limited.

The food, service, and location were excellent. Lovely breakfast in our room with extra treats. Amazing decor and atmosphere, like a fairytale. Staff were amazing, especially Roxy. The Inner Sanctum room was huge and romantic.

the room was magnificent, with private facilities and an incredible view. the restaurant provided incredible dishes that were perfectly cooked to our liking, and the breakfast served in-room was delicious and perfectly prepared. the service was exceptional, catering to our every need with friendly and professional staff. the location had great advantages, offering easy access to nearby attractions.

incredible hotel experience! perfect for our honeymoon with a sumptuous suite, beautiful bathroom, and exceptional staff. the location was great too, and the rooms had so much character. exceeded our expectations and topped our previous stay in edinburgh. definitely recommend witchery by the castle for a magical and luxurious experience!
