our recent stay in saint catherines was nothing short of perfect. Thistle House Guest House exceeded all expectations. Avril and Sue's hospitality was second to none, and their attention to detail made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The sumptuous breakfasts and stunning views of Loch Fyne were the icing on the cake. highly recommended.

The beautiful house had lots of lovely touches, like a cozy lounge with a big fire waiting and a tastefully decorated room with a sitting area and bay window. the hosts were welcoming and helpful, offering tea and biscuits upon arrival and giving great advice for local restaurants. the breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choice, and the location was quiet and overlooking the Loch, perfect for a peaceful getaway.

There were limited restaurant options within close proximity, but this did not detract from the overall lovely stay.
