The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with well-balanced decor. the staff were attentive and welcoming, going above and beyond to decorate the hotel for the Christmas season. the breakfasts were excellent and the waiting staff were very pleasant.

The wireless connection was unreliable, which seems to be a common issue in the area. It would have been helpful if a landline connection was available for guests.

The location is perfect, as it is close to the town center and within walking distance of all the attractions. The cleanliness of the hotel and its facilities were top-notch. We stayed at Tor-Na-Coille for a few nights and it was perfect for exploring the area. The location was very convenient, just a short walk from the High Street. The staff provided excellent service and our room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. The hotel itself was a beautiful old building with lovely interior decor. The bar had a great selection of gins and whiskies, and the dinner we had there was delicious and reasonably priced. The breakfast was also fantastic. a wonderful stay and we would definitely return.

The location of this hotel is perfect - away from Aberdeen but still close enough to enjoy the surrounding countryside. The staff are incredible – always friendly and attentive, except for the rude unhelpful duty manager and the events manager that lied repeatedly. The meals served are superb - the restaurant offers a wide range of delicious options. The bed in my room was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

This place is located in a calm area, just a couple of minutes from the centre of the village. The service provided by the staff was exceptional. They were always at our service and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room amenities were great, with ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. The garden area was a lovely spot to relax and unwind. The on-site car park was convenient, and the bar/lounge area and restaurant provided delicious food and drinks. We also appreciated the option of having in-room breakfast, which was a nice touch.

We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends.

The staff were helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. Despite the minor issues with the room being a bit dated and the shower being poor, my overall experience was positive. I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a lovely country house hotel. Room 6 was absolutely stunning with its spacious layout and comfortable traditional furniture. the extra large bed and high-quality cotton bed linen ensured a great night's sleep. the hotel had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were particularly friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure my comfort and even catered to my dietary requests. the food was delicious and the service exceptional. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.
