The location was perfect, just across the Esplanade from the beach. The staff were friendly and the service was great. The room was comfortable, especially with the very nicely decorated four-poster bed. Breakfast was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the fabulous fried bread. it was excellent value for money.

The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and the town center. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Situated just a stone's throw away from the beach, Valentine Guest House offers a perfect location for a seaside getaway. With the convenience of being close to everything, yet situated on the quieter side of the seafront, this guest house provides a peaceful retreat.

Although it was mentioned in one of the reviews that the bedroom window can be noisy on extremely windy days, this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise delightful stay.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated, especially the one with the four-poster bed which provides a nice touch of luxury. The location is perfect, just across the Esplanade from the beach, allowing for great views. And the breakfast, oh, the breakfast! The fabulous fried bread is a must-try, and it's included in the price!

Perfect location opposite the beach with plenty of nearby restaurants. Caroline & Nick, the hosts, were excellent. Beautiful bedroom with a mini fridge and modern TV. Loved the idea of selecting breakfast options in advance. Generous and delicious breakfast with lots of choice. The guest sofa and board games in the breakfast area were a nice touch. Central location, within walking distance of attractions.

Our room at the Valentine Guest House was beautifully decorated and had a cozy, homely atmosphere. The sea view from the four poster bed was breathtaking. We had a restful night's sleep and the breakfast in the morning was scrumptious, especially the amazing sausages! The location was perfect, just a short walk to restaurants, pubs, shopping, and the theatre. The hosts were welcoming and kind, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this gem of a guest house.
