Value for money was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location, nestled in the Abbey's tranquil grounds, was truly special. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

I had such a wonderful time at this hotel tucked away in a beautiful Pennine valley. The attention to detail was impressive, with rooms that had sofas huddled around the enormous fireplace - a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Plus, the breakfast spread was delicious and set me up for a day of adventures in the lovely village nearby.

All in all, everything was absolutely spot on.

Cons”: The breakfast menu, although delicious and well-cooked, would have been even better with a more plentiful supply of milk for hot drinks in the hall or bedroom.
