I had an excellent stay at Wheatlands Lodge in Windermere. Richard, the host, warmly welcomed me and gave me great recommendations for local restaurants. My room, number 8, was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was impressive with a bath, separate shower, and twin sinks. The breakfasts were delicious and the homemade granola was a real treat. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the town center, but still quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend Wheatlands Lodge for a luxurious break in the Lakes.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to several restaurants and bars in the area. The room was gorgeous and had lovely little extras like biscuits and hot chocolate. The breakfast selection was great and the food was well cooked. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

I recently stayed at Wheatlands Lodge and once again, it exceeded my expectations! The rooms have a homely feel, and the homemade breakfasts are a real treat. The hosts go above and beyond, from making a flask of tea to providing homemade banana loaf for our day out hiking. The house and gardens are stunning, and the hosts are knowledgeable about the area and offer great recommendations. The cooked breakfast has great variety, and the whole place is beautifully decorated and welcoming.

The location is perfect for those wanting to explore the area, as it is situated nearer to the lake and within walking distance of popular tourist destinations. The service provided by the friendly hosts is excellent, and the breakfasts are delicious, with homemade granola, yogurt, and freshly baked bread on offer.

This B&B is perfectly located, with easy access to the ferry back to Hill Top, Lake District and Windermere Town Centre. The rooms are bright and exceptionally clean, with spacious bathrooms and great facilities including a double shower. The hosts are welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast here is beyond belief, with a fantastic selection of homemade dishes and quality ingredients. The added touches of chocolates, biscuits, and Nespresso pods make the stay even more enjoyable.

My only gripe was that the bed was rather soft and felt a little small for a double.

The breakfasts are of the highest quality, with delicious options like poached eggs with avocado, bacon, and a chili drizzle.

The view from some rooms may be limited, as they overlook a small yard with tall conifers.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Wheatlands Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Richard and Yvonne. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location of the lodge couldn't have been better - it was quiet but still within easy walking distance of restaurants and Bowness. The room itself was absolutely fantastic, with a comfy bed and a beautiful view of the garden.

The room was small, not much space to move around in. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the pillows were too hard for my liking.
