This hotel is located in the heart of a charming village and is very close to all the attractions that Castleton has to offer. We loved that it is just opposite the pub in a private car park, which gave us peace of mind leaving our bikes there. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and we truly appreciated the attention to detail in the rooms, with nice finishing touches and a large bathroom. The breakfast included was promptly served and made with fresh, local ingredients, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

ye olde cheshire cheese inn in castleton exceeded my expectations. the cozy and comfortable room, full of character with low ceilings and oak beams, provided a perfect retreat after a day of exploring castleton's attractions. the staff were friendly and the food, especially the homemade game pie and fish & chips, was delicious. a fantastic stay in a beautiful location.

We had an amazing stay at a charming inn nestled in the stunning Peak District. The location was perfect, surrounded by breathtaking views and endless outdoor activities. The pub was buzzing with locals and tourists alike, creating a lively atmosphere. Our room was clean and spacious, providing us with a comfortable stay. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast that fueled us for the day ahead.

There was one minor drawback concerning the bathroom facilities.

My recent city break stay was a fantastic experience! the hotel's location was superbly convenient and allowed us to explore the city with ease. the room itself was spacious and perfect for our needs. Best of all, it was great value for money. Another advantage that we enjoyed was the friendly and welcoming staff that were always willing to help us with our needs.

While the stay was overall enjoyable, there were a few negative aspects that could be improved on. the dim lighting made the room feel quite dark and unwelcoming.

We enjoyed spending time in the downstairs pub, which was very popular among locals and visitors. We also appreciated the convenience of having a private car park just opposite the pub, giving us peace of mind leaving our bikes there. the full English breakfast served at the 4th lovely pub was hearty and satisfying.

During our recent stay, we experienced warm hospitality at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Inn. The pub, although old and worn, had a cozy charm that added to the overall atmosphere. While the menu was limited during our lunchtime visit, I must mention the delicious cheesy chips that were absolute perfection. The locals were friendly and welcoming, creating a pleasant environment for socializing. I would definitely recommend this inn for drinks and for its hospitality.
