The hostel had clean rooms, a warm atmosphere, and a spacious kitchen, perfect for our group of friends. The location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff were friendly and the cooking facilities were great.

The building had great character and was well-maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect for exploring Dartmoor and taking in the stunning scenery. The communal eating area provided a comfortable atmosphere to meet other travelers and make new friends. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day.

The room we stayed in was uncomfortably warm despite the window being open. It was concerning that the window only opened a small amount and could potentially be a fire risk if an emergency arose.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. the value for money was outstanding. With its affordable prices, I wasn't expecting such attention to detail and high-quality service. The location, nestled in the heart of beautiful Dartmoor and near the enchanting Bellever forest, was simply breathtaking. I loved being able to watch wildlife from the comfort of my room through the special windows. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast! The breakfast baps and coffee were an absolute delight, far surpassing my previous hostel experiences.

The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by green fields, cows, and alpacas. It was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The starry sky and Milky Way at night were simply mesmerizing. The friendly staff were always ready to assist and made us feel welcome.

One major downside was the lack of toilets. There were not enough toilets for the number of rooms, and they were not cleaned regularly.

We had a fantastic stay at Yha Dartmoor, located right in the middle of Dartmoor. It was a lifesaver after our wet camping trip, providing a basic but great option for our family. We all slept in one room comfortably, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location surrounded by green fields, cows, and alpacas offered beautiful views, especially at night with the Milky Way and starry sky. Other residents were friendly and the facilities were good, including cooking facilities and bathrooms/showers. The building was clean, tidy, and had all the necessary facilities, with delicious meals, especially breakfast.
