During my transit stay at Cavalier Oceanfront Resort, I appreciated the convenient location for accessing the Elephant Seal Rookery viewing station. Being able to easily visit and witness the impressive sight of 17,000 elephant seals migrating to the Piedras Blancas Rookery annually was a highlight of my trip. the proximity to the Piedras Blancas Light Station provided a fascinating glimpse into maritime history, offering a unique and enriching experience during my short stay.

The only minor drawback during my stay was the lack of air conditioning in the room. This resulted in some discomfort due to the warm temperatures, especially since the provided fan didn't sufficiently cool the space.

The ocean views were absolutely stunning and made for a perfect backdrop during our stay. Being able to enjoy a nightly fire in the fireplace added to the cozy and relaxing atmosphere. having coffee each morning on the patio while sitting on the rocking chairs was a delightful way to start the day.

One aspect that we found disappointing was the lack of a microwave and refrigerator in the room. It would have been more convenient to have these amenities, rather than relying on the fully stocked mini bar.

My stay at this oceanfront resort was absolutely fantastic. I had a beautiful view from my terrace and enjoyed the sound of the ocean. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room service was speedy. The amenities, including the pool and outdoor jacuzzi, were great. I also loved the fluffy robes provided, perfect for the chilly mornings. it was a perfect experience and I can't wait to go back.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and I was impressed by their thoughtful gestures like leaving a hand-written note and a bottle of champagne in my room. The hotel's beachfront location was perfect for unwinding, and I loved being able to walk right down to the beach. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant on-site served delicious food, and I appreciated the real coffee mugs in the room. It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

In our room closer to the ocean, the stunning sunsets were like a magnificent painting unfolding before our eyes. Each evening, as the sun melted into the horizon, it felt like nature's own spectacular light show, leaving us in awe of the beauty around us.

The hotel's location was perfect, right on the beach and with beautiful grounds. We enjoyed the evening bonfires and the in-room fireplace added a cozy touch. The rooms were clean and the overall stay was great.

The rooms could use an update and some of the TV channels were not clear. The beds were a bit firmer than what we preferred.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel right on the beach where we watched a gorgeous sunset. The hotel facilities were great, including firepits outside where we could sit and listen to the waves crashing below. The location was extremely close to the ocean and only a 5-minute drive away from Hearst Castle. The staff were exceptional, with a special shoutout to the helpful reception staff and friendly maintenance man.

Despite being a dog-friendly hotel, there was no compromise on cleanliness or comfort. Our furry friend felt right at home. The only drawbacks were the lack of screen doors on the ocean patio rooms and the absence of a fire extinguisher. However, these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall fantastic experience. We will definitely be returning to Cavalier Oceanfront Resort for future trips. we highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or a trip with your four-legged companion.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The value for money was excellent and the room was really nice. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The staff treated me with exceptional service and a friendly attitude.

The beachfront property has fire pits on the lawn, leading straight to the waves. Rooms have fireplaces and large patios, offering fantastic ocean views. The restaurant is great for breakfast and dinner, with other dining options close by. My stay was enhanced by the area's romantic and charming ambiance.

I gotta say, the value for my money was spot on at this hotel. The room was super nice, especially the Deluxe King Suite we stayed in. The location was absolutely gorgeous, with breathtaking views and a beach right there. The staff were really helpful and friendly, which made our stay even better.

If I had to pick one thing, I'd say the breakfast items could use a little improvement.
