We had a delightful stay at this charming hotel in the heart of a beautiful historic town. The location couldn't have been better - right on the main plaza with restaurants just steps away. The hotel had a lovely courtyard and a peaceful patio in the rear. The suite we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a big window that opened onto the street. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with a variety of pastries, fresh orange juice, and coffee. I would highly recommend this hotel for its charm and convenience.

my second stay in colonia del sacramento was even better than the first. posada plaza mayor exceeded my expectations for our celebrating anniversary. the atmosphere, helpful staff, and delicious food at the attached restaurant made our stay unforgettable.

We had a great stay in a lovely old town hotel. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the historic district. The rooms were comfortable and the showers were beautiful. We also enjoyed the gorgeous breakfast room and the plentiful and delicious food. it was a charming and enjoyable experience.

The only drawback was the language barrier during check-in. There seemed to be some confusion about where to go and what to do.

Great Thanksgiving stay! the complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi were much appreciated. the location was very convenient for exploring the historic town center and being close to all the shops and restaurants. the room had a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

Although we enjoyed our stay overall, the room was quite small and lacked some modern amenities. the staff could have been a bit more accommodating when we asked for a late checkout.

Superb location, beautifully restored historic building, comfortable suite room, neat and comfortable bathroom, bicycles for exploring nearby attractions.

This hotel is a gem in the heart of a bustling tourist area. Its prime location right on the main plaza of town offers amazing views over the small garden area. You can even enjoy a delicious breakfast with a great view of the river included. The rooms, with twin beds, are basic yet comfortable and provide wonderful views of the surroundings.
