I had a fantastic time at this super cute, well-kept hotel with a wonderful history. the location was perfect, and it was a lot of fun to take my dog for a walk along the river walk. the property manager, Alex, was amazing and worked hard to make sure everything was top-notch. I really enjoyed the company of the other guests, and we had a great time together in the pool area. I will definitely be back!

the hotel's history and iconic midcentury modern architecture added a touch of glamour to my experience. the staff was incredibly friendly and always available for assistance via text. the contactless check-in process was convenient, allowing me to go straight to my clean and well-maintained room with high-speed internet. the location was perfect, with downtown and hiking trails just a short walk away. I especially loved lounging in the pool, surrounded by the stunning mountain views. And ending my days stargazing in the hot Jacuzzi Spa was a treat!

The hotel had a beautiful swimming pool and surrounding garden that were meticulously kept. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to others.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at A Place In The Sun. The beautiful and well-maintained grounds made for a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. My room was spacious and had everything I needed, including a convenient kitchenette. The staff went above and beyond to assist me during my stay, showing great compassion and understanding when I injured my knee. Their quick response to my request for an extended stay even in the middle of the night was incredibly thoughtful. The charming and quiet ambience of the resort, with its rich history and connection to famous personalities like Elizabeth Taylor, added an extra touch of allure to my experience. The location was also perfect, with a nice pool and hot tub, as well as being close to a beautiful canyon hike.

While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, there were a few minor drawbacks. Colleagues were not allowed to join me during the day for a business meeting, which would have been convenient.

the property has a fantastic midcentury modern vibe with a touch of old Hollywood glamour. It was fascinating to know that we were staying in Sinatra's old apartment. the on-site manager was incredibly informative and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the overall atmosphere of the place was calm, peaceful, and inviting. I can't wait to come back, and even my doggo enjoyed lounging in the sun on the property.

As youngsters, we loved the cozy and comfortable rooms with spacious layouts and private backyards. The pool, hot tub, and BBQ in the common courtyard were perfect for hanging out and having fun. The beautiful landscaping with green grass, palm trees, and flowers created a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. We appreciated the pet-friendly policy and the convenience of being able to walk our dog along the river walk just outside the hotel.

Our xmas stay at this hotel was amazing! We really enjoyed the convenient location, which was close to downtown where we could do some shopping and find great food options. Additionally, the mid-century modern bungalow we stayed in was very cozy and equipped with all the necessary amenities. the highlight of our stay was definitely the pool area, where we spent most of our time enjoying the magical views. We can't wait to come back for another visit.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. our room was quite small and felt cramped due to the excessive amount of furniture.

Oasis in the heart of Palm Springs. Huge bungalow with a heated pool and spa open 24 hours. Private kitchen and garden. Friendly and informative manager. Beautiful flowers and clean surroundings.
