My kids wished for a larger swimming pool for more splashing fun.

I recently stayed at Acadia Inn for a weekend getaway. The property was well maintained with a large pool, hot tub, and jungle gym for the kids. The staff even provided all the supplies for making s'mores by the fire pit. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still providing a free shuttle service to the town center. The breakfast was impressive, with a variety of options including eggs, bacon, yogurt, and fruit. The staff, particularly Walter and Sheri, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Completely satisfied with our room and overall experience. Well done Acadia Inn!

The location was fantastic, with easy access to the nearby national park and the charming main street. We loved being able to explore both nature and the city on our city trip. The breakfast provided was plentiful and had a great variety of options to choose from. It was a great way to start our day and fuel up for our adventures.

One major drawback was the room temperature. It was quite chilly and despite cranking up the heat, it never seemed to get warm enough.

The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. We loved the socializing around the fire pit, making s'mores and chatting with other guests. The breakfast was fantastic, with efficient staff ensuring everything was replenished. The room was clean and the housekeeper did a great job.

The only downside was that we had to ask for clean towels on the second night and our room wasn't cleaned during our stay. Breakfast was also a bit disappointing as the hot food ran out early, even when we tried to go earlier one day.

The hotel is conveniently located on a hillside just outside of downtown Bar Harbor. Within 5 minutes, we were able to reach the bustling downtown area and explore all it had to offer. The staff at this hotel were very attentive and provided us with excellent service throughout our stay. The basic amenities were all in place, and our room with a view of the autumn colors was simply breathtaking. We also appreciated the additional space in our room, as well as the fact that it was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including both hot and cold choices, which made it easy to start our day off right.

The hotel facilities were great, especially for families with little ones to romp around. The cleanliness was impeccable, and everything was in excellent condition.
