i had a fantastic stay this valentine's day, especially compared to my last experience in anacortes. the spacious sea view room was stunning, exceeding my expectations with breathtaking vistas. dining at the sports bar was a highlight, where the food and service stood out remarkably.

water pressure in the shower was weak.

Aye, that breakfast was fire! We went for New Year’s and the Sports Bar food hit the spot. My husband had a lil mess-up with his order, but the staff hooked him up with a refund. Mad chill vibes overall, definitely coming back. Can't wait to take in those dope views again.

Here’s what worked – and what didn’t

The staff was delightful and very helpful, making check-in a breeze! The food options were fantastic, especially the tasty prime rib dinner that left us wanting more! !

The room lacked USB ports for charging devices, and we found navigating the property signage confusing, especially when trying to locate the check-in area.

A scenic stay with room for improvement

The room was spacious, clean, and had breathtaking views of the bay that made waking up feel special. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in smooth and enjoyable.

A few amenities fell short. The shower's water pressure was strong but not adjustable, making it challenging to use comfortably. There could’ve been more options for snacks in the gift shop, too.

Spacious Sea View rooms with breathtaking vistas.

During my stay, I encountered several frustrations. The lack of USB ports in the room made charging my devices a hassle, which felt quite outdated. Additionally, the dispensers for bathroom amenities were particularly difficult to use, often leading to wasted product and irritation. I also found the lack of towel options somewhat disappointing for what is portrayed as a luxury hotel. The inconsistent lighting in the bathroom made it hard to get ready properly, affecting my overall experience.

i can’t believe the rooms overlook a trailer park, just disgraceful. then there’s the irritating child next door keeping me up all night, should be a rule against kids in a casino. i thought some kind gesture like a room upgrade would be granted, but i was treated like everyone else, so disappointing. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Enjoyed the spacious Sea View room with stunning vistas. The food at Carver's Cafe was a highlight, especially the halibut and fries paired with a delicious tartar sauce. While the casino had some table games, the overall atmosphere could use a bit more liveliness. Staff at Carver's provided excellent service, enhancing our experience.

We stayed in a Queen Room with Sea View, and it was spacious with stunning views. The lodge offered an easy and fun experience with a ton of slot machines. We loved the laid-back vibe and enjoyed dining at Carver's Cafe with its reasonable prices. the food was excellent.

My wife says that access to certain areas was limited, especially for families with kids.

I stayed in a King Room with Sea View, and the view was amazing! But there were some downsides. The room needed a good deep clean—found dust on the windowsill and some stains on the comforter. Plus, the A/C wasn’t cooling enough. Shower water pressure was weak too. It was nice having a coffee maker, but they really should’ve provided more towels for a room meant for four. So, it was comfy, but kind of a mixed bag overall.
