We stayed here twice during our trip up the coast. The staff was friendly and helped us with any questions we had. The location is perfect for exploring the area, and the rooms have nice amenities such as heating, tea and coffee facilities, and free Wi-Fi. In the morning, we enjoyed continental breakfast with a view, and there was a lovely terrace to sit and relax.

Although it may not be super safe to walk to town, this place has amazing views of the ocean and a beautiful garden area. We had a wonderful time hiking, cycling, and canoeing nearby.

We had a perfect Mother's Day Retreat and 24th-anniversary celebration at Agate Cove Inn. The ocean view was stunning, and the hotel's picturesque setting was just what we were looking for. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, complete with a beautiful veranda. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with options like bacon, Parmesan, and paprika scrambled eggs, and freshly baked scones with unique flavors each day. The hotel also provided plenty of amenities, including extra blankets, books, DVDs, binoculars, and board games. a great stay in a great location.

The Emerald room was perfect for a light sleeper - quiet with stunning ocean views and a comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower. Spectacular breakfast with a view right on the water. Lovely and welcoming staff. Easy check-in/out. Will definitely return if in Mendocino again.

Our stay at Agate Cove Inn was absolutely worth every penny. The room, specifically the Jasper room, was perfect for a long weekend getaway. The balcony with a view of the cliffs and ocean was breathtaking. The staff treated us so kindly and always had great recommendations for things to do in the area.

The breakfast, although delicious, could have been improved by having a sit-down area with hot food options available.

We had a fantastic stay at a quiet inn close to the ocean. The separate cottages on the beautiful garden grounds provided privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. The views from the breakfast room, outside patio, and chairs were breathtaking. We loved the option to order pizza from the chef and enjoy it on the deck while watching the sunset over the ocean. The staff graciously accommodated my food allergies for breakfast and even provided fresh flowers and a bottle of bubbles for our celebration.

The view from the breakfast room was absolutely stunning, especially during Christmas time. It made the delicious meal they prepared for us even more enjoyable. Additionally, the accommodations were cozy and comfortable, perfect for a winter getaway. the treats they provided in the afternoon, like the chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting, were absolutely spectacular.

One thing that could have been improved upon during our stay was the lack of a strong reading light. It would have been nice to have a brighter light to read by, especially during the cozy winter evenings.

The only downside was that our room was located above the breakfast area, so we could hear some noise in the morning. However, the delightful smells coming from the kitchen made up for it, and we never found ourselves sleeping through breakfast.
