During my recent travel, I chose to stay at Alder Hotel Uptown New Orleans for its convenient location, as it is only 3.4 km from Union New Orleans Lakefront, perfectly suiting my transit needs. The hotel's proximity to the airport, approximately 20 km away, added to the ease of travel, making it an ideal choice for a brief stay between flights.

I encountered a minor inconvenience during my stay as the information about being able to smoke on the balconies, which was included when I booked the room, did not align with the hotel's policy of not allowing smoking in the rooms or on the balconies. This discrepancy was a small disappointment, but it's worth noting for potential guests.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We loved the fact that they had a pool, it was a great feature to have, especially for the price. Another great aspect was the friendly and welcoming staff, they were always smiling and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. the hotel was conveniently located, close enough to the city to explore but far enough to avoid the noise and crowds.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. There was a lack of protein options and the food didn't seem very clean or appetizing.

The hotel was conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to explore the area without having to worry about parking fees. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel room was impeccable, easily one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in.

One downside was the lack of aesthetic warmth in the property. It felt like the hotel was primarily designed to cater to those with medical-related stays, rather than providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

The room at Alder Hotel Uptown New Orleans was so cozy and had a super spacious feel. The kitchenette was a game-changer, and having a laptop-friendly workspace made it easy to catch up on emails.

I personally found the 24-hour front desk a bit too bustling, but others might appreciate the convenience.

The Alder Hotel Uptown was a fantastic choice for my stay in New Orleans. The room was impeccable, complete with a lovely balcony and a convenient kitchenette stocked with crockery and cutlery. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was just as depicted in the photos, with the added bonus of actual dishes, bowls, and utensils.

Upon arrival, despite reserving a King bed with a balcony, I was informed none were available. The front desk staff suggested putting two queen beds together, without offering a proper apology.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were great with our kids. The room was comfortable and clean. The shower was excellent. Parking available for customers.

I had a great time staying at this hotel in Uptown. The location was super, in a quiet and pleasant area just outside the city centre. The staff was fantastic, they provided great service and were very helpful. My room had a balcony and sitting area which was a lovely addition. The hotel also had an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi which was perfect for relaxing after a long day.

I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
