We needed to stay close to the Amtrak Auto Train station and Holiday Inn Express was just a hop, skip, and jump away. The desk staff were amazing and went out of their way to accommodate us. The room was clean and comfortable with a modern feel. The breakfast was a bonus, especially the pancake machine. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a clean and comfortable stay.

The staff at the hotel were exceptional, especially Lisa at the front desk and Jane in the breakfast area. Lisa was so helpful and allowed me to check in early, which was greatly appreciated after a long overnight drive. Jane went above and beyond to make the breakfast experience special for all guests. She constantly ensured that the food and beverages were plentiful and hot, and even engaged in interesting conversations with everyone. the food itself was also delicious. Additionally, the location of the hotel, being close to the Amtrak train station, was very convenient.

I found the overall condition of the hotel to be a bit dated. the lights in the rooms were flickering, and there was hair in the shower.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Lorton for one night, as I was catching the AutoTrain which is minutes away. The staff was incredibly friendly and the hotel was very clean. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a huge walk-in shower. The breakfast had a variety of options and the seating area was clean and spacious. The location was convenient, with stores, restaurants, and a mall nearby. The pricing was also very reasonable considering all the amenities provided. I highly recommend this hotel.
