My recent stay at The Mining Exchange was delightful. The beautifully renovated room was spacious and offered a large wet room type shower that had two shower heads. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, making my experience memorable.

Elevators were hard to find.

But the elevators felt like a scavenger hunt—seriously, where are they hiding? Also, how can a room with champagne not come with a complimentary phone?

Who knew? Not me!

Charmed by the delightful vintage feel and top-notch service, this hotel was a lovely surprise! The friendly staff, especially Jill at the front desk, made our stay memorable. Our room was quiet, spacious, and beautifully clean. Plus, the restaurant offered delicious meals—definitely worth a visit!

The culinary scene here is a gem, especially the Cajun delights at Spring Orleans—amazing flavors! The staff were attentive, providing guidance on local eateries and ensuring our stay was comfortable. The room was modern and beautifully detailed, making for a lovely space to unwind.

Oh, where do I begin? My room was absolutely minuscule, barely big enough for the lonely office chair! And Valet parking? A whopping $45 per night, really? I was flying high on expectations and felt totally ignored when I didn’t even get a complimentary bottle of water. Almost gave them a good review, but just couldn’t.

Man, the staff here were real legends! Chatted to us like we were old mates, making sure we were comfy after my wife’s surgery. The room was so lekker too—proper nice for chilling out. The surrounding restaurants were easy to hit for some yummy grub nearby.

Just a smidge noisy sometimes from the street, but nothing too crazy. We managed alright!

Just a smart choice for a brief hiatus in Colorado Springs with great value for money. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere and the fantastic two-for-one drink specials during happy hour. Be sure to check out the local attractions within walking distance.

I enjoyed my stay with beautiful decor and the fantastic Cajun dishes at Spring Orleans, but the room could have been larger. I’d totally stay here again!
