Room was clean, but water pressure was weak.

I loved indulging in the assorted muffins at breakfast—what a treat! The modern design of the hotel and the cheerful atmosphere made my stay quite enjoyable. I also appreciated the kind gestures from the staff, who were always ready to help.

However, when I hopped into the shower, there was hardly any water pressure, and the soap dispenser was empty. I reported it, but they never managed to fix it—had to wash with a small bar of soap until I could get to the store. Still, the overall vibe kept my spirits high.

The location of Aloft Gainesville University Area is great and it's pet-friendly, which is a big plus for families. Despite these concerns, it's a good choice for a short stay, especially due to its modern amenities.

However, there were a few hiccups during my stay. The water pressure in the shower was disappointing, making for a less-than-refreshing experience, and some of the gym equipment was in poor condition. Noise from other rooms and the hallways was also bothersome—definitely not great if you’re trying to catch some Z's. Plus, I noticed some inconsistency in room cleanliness, with reports of stains on carpets and leftover items from previous guests.

Location is excellent close to everything I needed plus pet friendly with a grassy area. Staff were incredibly nice and accommodating during my stay. Breakfast was good even without being included.

Had a great time here with friends! We visited Regal Cinemas for a fun movie night and played billiards in the hotel lounge. The beds were comfy, and we appreciated the friendly vibe. Perfect for group vacations. Be sure to check out local eateries instead of the hotel for breakfast!

The hotel has a sleek Manhattan vibe, cozy bar, and offered unique, made-from-scratch pork tacos. Rafael, the manager, was a gem!
