This hotel is a hidden gem in the foothills, with a lovely yard and deck where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that your needs are met. The prices are reasonable, offering great value for money. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the well-maintained rooms to the freshly made breakfast every morning. The location is perfect, right in the center of Gold Country, making it easy to explore the area and visit nearby attractions. this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

Nice location in the foothills with a lovely yard and deck. Historic icon of 166 years with original fixtures and period pieces. Thorough host describing amenities and recommending local restaurants. Young ladies in the kitchen and breakfast service were kind. Beautiful, well-decorated house, transporting you to the mid-18th century. Great personnel, loved the cheese and wine hour. Excellent breakfast and afternoon refreshments. Convenient parking.
