i had a great three-night stay here which exceeded my expectations compared to my previous visit to bar harbor. the breakfast was prompt and delicious, and it was so nice how everything was within walking distance. the decor was charming, and the warm atmosphere made it feel like home.

the tv had no cable options available.

ample parking made it easy to explore the area. breakfast options could be more varied.

stayed 2 nights and absolutley cannot believe the lack of a proper tv, just useless. the room was small, felt cramped with luggage around, like sardines. and don’t even get me started on the stairs, a serious hike! i expected a little welcome gift or upgrade for my troubles but got nothing. a shame really.

The evening wine and cheese gatherings were a wonderful touch, fostering a friendly atmosphere and making it easy to meet other guests.

The room we stayed in had a bit of a cramped layout, which made it challenging to maneuver around with our luggage.

Bob was a flipping lovely host, so helpful! We had a lekker walk to downtown for some great food and shops, and the brekkies were top-notch. The wine and cheese eve gathering was a jol, met some cool chommies there!

Internet was a bit of a vasbyt, sometimes slow for sharing photos, but nothing too hectic.

I enjoyed a three-night stay in a Superior Queen Room. The breakfast was delicious and served promptly. The decor combined Japanese and Victorian styles, which was exquisite. Bob and his wife provided great service, and I appreciated the convenient walking distance to restaurants and attractions. They even packed our breakfast for an early departure.

Stayed 2 nights in a Deluxe Queen Room. Loved the air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and private bathroom that was spotless. Breakfast was amazing with quick service. The decor is charming, mix of Japanese and Victorian. Great location for walking around town. The spa facilities added a nice touch to unwind. Would recommend for sure!

Spending three nights brought some lovely moments, especially the delightful breakfasts that were served right away without delay. The cozy decor—an inviting mix of Japanese and Victorian styles—added charm throughout. While the location was ideal for accessing nearby shops and restaurants, the Birch Point room left much to be desired in terms of space and comfort, making it hard to navigate. Additionally, the internet connection lagged at times, which was frustrating during our stay.

Room sizes are cramped, making it hard to navigate luggage around!!! The TV offers no cable or connection options—completely pointless!!! Poor drainage and clogged sinks in bathrooms need addressing!!! More transparent communication about cleaning policies would help!!!

Just a perfect match for a city break in Bar Harbor with incredible value for money. I really enjoyed the cozy living room downstairs, perfect for relaxing and chatting with other travelers. Make sure to check out the breakfast spot in the winter garden. it’s a lovely place to start your day.
