My partner and I had a comfortable stay at a cozy lodge with spacious and clean rooms, complete with a well-equipped kitchen. The shower was phenomenal and one of the best we experienced throughout our trip. The lodge even had a resident avocado tree, and the friendly staff gave us fresh avocados for a delightful breakfast addition. We also went on a memorable Mauna Kea tour with an entertaining guide who shared fascinating Hawaiian stories and pointed out constellations.

The lodge lacked some basic kitchen essentials like nonstick pans, sharp knives, and a bigger cutting board.

We had a great time at Arnott's Lodge & Hiking Adventures! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to assist us with anything we needed. The lodge provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including washing machines, dryers, and a fully equipped kitchen. We were also able to book a fantastic Mauna Kea tour directly from the lodge, led by a professional tour guide. The lodge had a peaceful and cozy atmosphere, perfect for both short and long-term travelers. Plus, the free coffee was delicious!

our stay at arnott's was just what we needed - basic, clean, and well-maintained. the quiet neighborhood and strict noise rules suited us perfectly. the lounge/laundry area was a great concept, and being close to secluded beaches was a bonus.

My stay at this lodge was absolutely delightful. The staff at Arnott's Lodge & Hiking Adventures were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The lodge itself had a charming and relaxed atmosphere, reminiscent of the New Zealand of yesteryears. It was the perfect location for exploring the area, and I was fortunate enough to witness the eruption of Mauna Loa and even catch a glimpse of the volcano's plume from where I was staying. Additionally, the lodge offered great opportunities for outdoor activities and I enjoyed taking runs in the area as part of my training for the Honolulu marathon. One of the highlights of my stay was the tour to the summit of Mauna Kea, guided by the wonderful Donna. a unique and memorable experience.

Great value for the price. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was perfect, close to beautiful beaches and a favorite cold water pond. it felt like a home away from home.

The lack of TV in the room was a downside, and parking was tight. there were too many signs everywhere, making it feel like a summer camp and treating guests as children.

During my Xmas stay, I loved the fact that the lodge offered a variety of tours to explore the wonders of the island. I had the opportunity to visit the National Volcano Park and witness the beauty of the lava fields. Additionally, the lodge's convenient location allowed me to easily access the main attractions of the area, including beautiful beaches within walking distance.

There were a few drawbacks to my stay. Firstly, the lodge is self-catering, so it would have been more convenient to have a car or access to a nearby bus service for grocery shopping.

I absolutely loved my stay at this lodge! The location was perfect, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to the water. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, like a cool base camp for adventures. The rain falling at night while the coqui frogs chirped was so soothing. Meeting fellow travelers from different countries made it even more special. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful, providing great tips for my trip. The shared outdoor gathering space was a great place to hang out and socialize. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette that was very convenient. I had a fantastic experience at Arnott's Lodge & Hiking Adventures.

Although the pillows could have been fluffier, it didn't really affect my overall comfort. The only other drawback was the slight scent of mold, which is normal in the wet side of the islands.

I had an amazing stay! The staff were exceptionally lovely and helpful. The Lodge had a beachy-chilled, family vibe that reminded me of New Zealand fifty years ago. The accommodation was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The availability of Tim Tams to purchase was a bonus. The location was great, with nearby shops and a beach where I saw turtles. The Christmas lights outside were pretty. the staff, cleanliness, facilities, and location were top-notch.

The room had a great balcony overlooking a lovely garden, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The hotel was conveniently located near beautiful beaches and the farmers market, and the airport was just a short drive away. The cleanliness of the accommodation was impressive, and we appreciated the availability of Raid in case of any bugs. the hotel provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Loved the two-bedroom unit, hot shower, bike rentals, and proximity to beach parks. Nice artificial jungle-style location, large apartment, and friendly staff. Enjoyed the nature bordering the kitchen door and the dining/lounge hangout area. Great value for money, with comfortable dorm rooms and hotel-like service.
