I loved the clean and affordable accommodations at Sierra Motel. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was super friendly. The extra pillows provided were a nice touch, and I enjoyed the grassy area with chairs where I could relax with a drink at night. The security measures, like requiring a key scan, made me feel safe. Sierra Motel is my go-to place in town, especially during Cherry Fest, and its location is perfect for those who want to be close to the beach.

I couldn't believe my luck when I stumbled upon this gem of a motel. The owner, Connie, greeted me with a warm smile and made sure I felt at home right away. The room was absolutely immaculate, not a speck of dust in sight. It was evident that Connie takes great pride in maintaining the cleanliness of her motel. I even had the chance to check out the twinkling lights in the parking lot at night, it felt like a magical spectacle. Despite being a motel, the room had all the necessary amenities, including a microwave and refrigerator which made my stay even more convenient. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed to explore. my experience at Sierra Motel was fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean stay.

Good pick! ! On the way to the UP and had just left Sleeping Bear Dunes. We needed a place for only 1 night. Found this place on TA and it's the kind of place we seek out on road trips. It's an older, very well maintained, non-chain, roadside motel full of nostalgic charm. We went into the office and were given a great rate but the sweet lady at the front desk wanted to show us the room first to make sure we liked it. It was older but super clean with a refrigerator and microwave. the housekeeping gets an A+ here as well as the staff. the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions. It is in a nice area and well lit, so safety was not a concern here. When we went to check out, they had complimentary coffee, orange juice, and muffins! All in all, it was a charming, kitschy, clean room at a great rate!

Price seemed too high, but perhaps this was standard in a resort town during August? We were in a pinch at the last minute and glad to get a room.

I recently stayed at a centrally located hotel in Traverse City for a few nights. The rooms were clean, and the king-size bed was comfortable. I appreciated the fridge, microwave, and WiFi in the room. Despite the high-season traffic, parking was available right in front of our room. The staff were friendly and quick to assist, and the manager went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The hardwood floors in the room were a nice touch, and the overall rate was reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

Despite the negatives, there were a few positive aspects during our stay. the motel offered a good rate, which was one of the reasons we chose it in the first place. Additionally, the motel was conveniently located and had easy access to downtown and the beach. It was also nice that they had chairs in front of the rooms so we could sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. However, these positives were overshadowed by the subpar bathroom and lack of comfort in the room. We will not be returning to this motel in the future.

I recently stayed at a motel in Traverse City and I have to say I was not impressed. the bathroom was super tiny and the linoleum floor was dirty.
