Our room was small and quaint, with a tub and hand shower. The neighborhood was fun to walk around and close to the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. a enjoyable experience.

The location of the hotel was great for me as it was a short walk or a quick cab ride to the main city area. the neighborhood was quiet and had plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. I also appreciated the fact that there was a climbing gym just around the corner, which was a bonus for me. the hotel itself was beautifully decorated and had a relaxed atmosphere. the owners were friendly and helpful, providing useful information about the neighborhood and the city. the breakfast provided had a good variety of choices and was delicious, and it was nice to sit and chat with other guests around the table. the bedroom was comfortable and clean, and the garden and porch offered pleasant spots to relax.

Although I enjoyed my stay overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the bathroom in my room was a bit small and cramped, which was slightly inconvenient.

The Oak Room was beautiful and comfortable, delicious breakfasts, friendly hosts, great location.
