As bike riders, we really appreciated the spacious and modern rooms at Avid Hotels. The property provided us with everything we needed, such as a mini-fridge and television, and the air-conditioner was a bonus after our rides. The large bathroom with a walk-in shower and scented bath products were a great way to refresh after a long day of biking. The comfortable beds and lovely bedding ensured a restful sleep. We also enjoyed the free breakfast with its wide selection and the outdoor seating was a nice touch.

The room was spacious and modern, with brand new amenities that worked perfectly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I felt welcomed from the moment I checked in. The breakfast selection was good, and it was nice to have a nourishing meal to start my day. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience.

At check-in, an additional $50 was charged without a clear explanation, causing confusion and frustration. While the amount was eventually credited back, the initial charge was unexpected and off-putting.

The 24-hour coffee was a nice touch, and I felt safe with the presence of security cameras. The location was perfect, just 4 minutes from Carowinds and close to a Christmas story dinner show. Additionally, there was a flea market and McDonald's nearby, making it convenient for shopping and dining.
