The room was clean and had a nice partial sea view. Parking across the street was a bit annoying. Happy hour by the pool was a nice touch.

The beach access is fantastic and the property is generally clean. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, helping turn around a rough start into a better experience.

The parking situation was a nightmare! The garage is super tight and chaotic—cars squeezed in everywhere. We spent forever trying to find a spot, and crossing the street with our groceries was such a hassle. Not ideal at all!

The indoor pool was a highlight of our stay, very relaxing!

Our time at Avista Resort was spectacular! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The on-site bar had refreshing drinks, and daily activities ensured there was fun for everyone. Plus, the beach was just steps away—perfect for a relaxing getaway!

Conveniently close to the beach and fun attractions

This resort is just a stone's throw from the sandy beach and has easy access to great spots like Coconuts Oceanfront Tiki Bar and Grill just a few steps away and Fat Harold's Beach Club only about 500 meters down the road, making it perfect for leisurely strolls after a day by the pool; plus, the hotel itself has awesome features like a pool with a lazy river and hot tubs. One downside was the smaller parking garage across the street.

Loved the convenient parking and nearby restaurants; fry tenders by the bar were a treat. A couple of drawbacks—housekeeping was inconsistent, and the indoor pool had a bit of a musty odor. my luggage soaked from a leaking air conditioner didn't sit well. Just a heads up, the age restrictions at the lounge were annoying, especially when rules seemed inconsistent. Still, these moments didn’t overshadow the fun we had. Would consider returning!

My family had a wonderful stay at Avista Resort in Myrtle Beach. The staff resolved any minor issues quickly and kindly. The amenities were fantastic, the rooms cozy, and the location perfect. The tree top lounge could be more consistent with its age policy. Overall, a great experience.

Exceptional location. Views of the ocean? Stunning. Spa tub? Pure bliss. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Direct beach access, just steps away—never felt crowded, perfect for relaxation. The indoor/outdoor pool was impressive; kids would love it. The pool bar and snack shack served us well post-beach. Staff members were friendly and attentive, especially in the restaurants. check-in was disorganized. Early access promised but not delivered. Room size was tight for a family of four and lacked adequate privacy. Fire alarm evacuation lacked communication. Despite these setbacks, it’s a solid choice. Book a larger room, and enjoy the beach. I plan to return.
