The staff here are some of the nicest people we have ever encountered, providing exceptional service and being very informative about everything we asked. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely veranda where we enjoyed reading. The breakfast, although grab-and-go, was still delicious and helped start our day off right.

Additionally, the hotel's proximity to downtown Alton was a major plus, as it allowed us to easily explore the area and visit local establishments.

While the hotel provided a great overall experience, we were disappointed that there was no special recognition for our birthday celebration. Many other hotels offer a small gift or gesture to commemorate such occasions.
