Always choose to stay here. First visit, staff helped with local taxi number. Perfect for me, with Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, bar/lounge, flat-screen TV. Coming back for New Year.

During my recent transit through San Francisco, I found the location of Beresford Arms to be extremely convenient. Situated just 2.3 km from Cal 4th & King Street, the hotel provided easy access for my onward travels. being only 0.6 km from Powell Street, I appreciated the accessibility to public transportation, making it convenient to explore the city during my short stay.

I must admit that the area surrounding the hotel left something to be desired. Being on the edge of the shabby Tenderloin area, there was a noticeable presence of homeless individuals and a lingering smell of urine in the air.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Convenient location near downtown and good restaurants. Easy access to transportation and walking distance to nice areas

my recent stay at beresford arms in san francisco was even better than before! the staff was so attentive and made us feel right at home. the location was perfect for exploring the city by foot or public transit. can't wait to come back in august!

Noise from outside and neighboring rooms was a bit disruptive.

I recently stayed at a hotel in SF for a short trip and was pleasantly surprised by the many perks. The location was fantastic, the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Vince at the front desk. The hotel provided a delicious breakfast box, complete with everything except eggs and bacon. There was even a separate bidet and a whirlpool tub in the room. I also loved the happy hour with free wine, cheese, and nuts. a great experience and I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel's central location put us right in the heart of the entertainment scene, with family-friendly magic shows and Broadway musicals just steps away. It truly felt like a hub of cultural events, making our family trip to San Francisco full of unforgettable experiences.

My kids wished for a more kid-friendly pool area.

The hotel offered a great breakfast with a variety of options. the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer service. the location of the hotel was perfect, close to popular attractions and shopping areas.

There were some issues with the room. the noise from other guests coming and going was quite loud, especially at night.

The hotel was smack in the middle of all the hype – close to a comedy club where we laughed our heads off and a theater that put on mind-blowing shows. The vibe was chill, and the staff were like a fam. Perfect for young peeps looking for a good time in San Francisco!

Wish there was a cooler rooftop hangout for late-night fun – that would've been the icing on the cake for our squad.

Beresford Arms exceeded my expectations in many ways. the location was fantastic, right across from some delicious restaurants which made dining out so convenient. The hotel itself was kept beautifully clean, and despite being an older building, the rooms were comfortable and had a charming character, even if the floors creaked a bit. I particularly loved the breakfast at the hotel, with the best coffee I had during my visit to this city. The included fresh fruit was a nice touch, and the croissants from Honey were absolutely delicious. my stay at this hotel was incredibly pleasant and I would highly recommend it to others.

Christmas at this hotel was a delight! the spacious rooms were a pleasant surprise, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchenette. the fact that the rooms had proper cotton bed linen made our stay even more cozy. Additionally, the location of the hotel was key, as we were able to easily walk to nearby attractions and transportation options. And let’s not forget the wine and cheese hour, where we had the chance to mingle with other travelers and enjoy some delicious snacks.

There were a couple of drawbacks. First, the breakfast options were a bit limited, with only sweet pastries and fruit available.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is great, with plenty of delicious restaurants in walking distance and local attractions nearby. The staff is friendly and always ready to help with car hire, dry cleaning, and laundry services. The room amenities were excellent with free Wi-Fi, in-room air conditioning, mini-bar, and flat-screen TV. We also loved the continental breakfast and bar/lounge area.

We noticed some staff members could use some customer service training. However, we would still recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay with great facilities.

We had a fantastic stay at Beresford Arms. The room we stayed in was incredibly spacious and comfortable, with a luxurious jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The location was perfect for exploring all the attractions and events near Union Square. The linens were of high quality and the cleaning staff did a thorough job in the room. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in the city.
